Arched golden ochre yellow standards and solid rich mahogany-red falls, striped around beards. Beards mustard yellow. Big flowers. Boldness in size, color and habit. Excellent sort.

Royal purple flowers irregularly spattered and streaked with white markings, ruffled. Beards light orange. May reach only 60 cm height in very dry and sunny places.

Standards white with fine lemon wire edges. Falls lavender with a large white starburst radiating out and blending into lavender, edge more buff to red violet, ruffled. Beards vivid tangerine, lighter at end.

Standards eggshell white, slight buff-pink upward flush, buff gold flush at edge, lightly laced gold edge. Falls cream ground, medium gold haft, slight downward flush to narrow peachy buff edge. Beards bright tangerine red. Slight fragrance. Strong, vigorous and healthy growth.

Strong and heavily ruffled flowers. Standards cream, mid violet infused midrib, falls mid dark violet- blue center blending to light slate-blue margin, brassy olive at base. Beards burnt-orange. Pronounced sweet fragrance.

Standards light lavender ground washed medium lavender and off-white with medium violet splashes. Falls same, heavier medium violet purple on shoulders. Beards burnt orange tipped violet. Flowers ruffled and flared, slightly fragrant.
GOLDKIST (Black 1993)
Standards white, falls white overlaid with a yellow gold band at the base and with purple veining in the throat, around the bright yellow beards. Not too big flowers, but a most unusual color combination.

Standards peach orange, darker toward edge, falls white, light cinnamon peach plicata washed and dotted margins and base. Beards dark red-orange. Flowers heavily ruffled and laced, slight sweet fragrance. Strong and vigorous growth.

Standards sultry blue-purple, falls rich blue-violet, blue fall overlay, deeper around blue beards. Flowers very ruffled and laced, sweet fragrance. Strong growth, tall and very showy.

Standards dark blue-violet, falls dark blue-violet with white blaze around beard. Beards white, yellow in throat. Flowers ruffled. Tall sturdy stems.

Standards yellow center and darker, very ruffled margin and fine veining, falls strongly flared and ruffled, white, with yellow rims and base. Beards dark marigold in throat, light yellow at end. Flowers slighty sweet fragrant. Husky growth with average increase.

Standards bright lemon yellow, falls red burgundy to ruby, bright yellow even starburst pattern extending half way down. Beards bright golden yellow.

Standards cornflower blue, falls somewhat darker blue with lighter edges. Beards blue white at end, light lemon in throat. Flowers heavily ruffled, pronounced sweet fragrance. Sort received American Dykes Medal 2006.

Standards brilliant golden yellow, falls white, bordered and washed with this same bright gold of the standards. Beards golden yellow. Giant flowers, very ruffled and laced. Excellent sort, winner of many competitions, received American Dykes Medal 2013.
