Raspberry pink standards, deeper rose falls distinctly veined, bright tangerine beards. Big flowers, nicely ruffled. Perfect branching of the stem, good bud count. Prolific and vigorous, healthy growth.

Standards white with fine pink venation, falls broad, curved, gold and deep pink at base, darker venation, beards white, tipped orange. Fine spicy fragrance.
ATHENA (Saunders 1949)
Flowers single, large, ivory-white to apricot-yellow with prominently present lavender flares at the base of the flower petals, contrasting golden-yellow stamens in the centre. It is a quadruple hybrid created from P. lactiflora x {(P. macrophylla x P. mlokosewitschii) x P. officinalis} breeding. Light fragrance. Early blooming, floriferous and vigorous with strong stems. Only rarely offered. Recommended. Plant height 80 cm.

AUGUSTIN D'HOUR (Calot 1867)
A medium to large (12 cm) velvety red bloom that is a very different shade of a bright chestnut blood red or reddish mahogany. Strong stems, suitable to natural gardens, good in combination with perennials.
AVALANCHE (Crousse 1886)
Flowers large, globular, double, blush-white of waxy texture with a faint pink center and very narrow crimson edges to a few petals. Compact, generally incurved flower with the tips of the outer petals recurved from its ball-like center. Fragrance strong but not sweet.
BARTZELLA (Anderson 1986)
Full double flowers, bright yellow with red flares. Healthy and strong growth, 100% winter-hardy. Lovely lemon fragrance, giant flowers (18 cm)! Recommended for any garden, unique and most popular yellow sort.
