SDB – Standard Dwarf Bearded Irises
In this group, you will find low-growing irises of the height between 21 cm and 40 cm, usually blooming between late April and mid-May. They bloom profusely by carpets of about 5 cm large flowers, often brightly colored, sometimes with distinctly contrasting beards, in magnificent combinations. Many of them also smell nice. SDB's love sunny position and free-draining soil, so they are ideal for planting in rock gardens, or bed frames. They may also be combined perfectly with other perennials. They are easy to grow and completely frost-resistant. On these sites, you can sort them by their flower color.
We accept orders all year round, bareroot plants are sent (by Zásilkovna or Czech Post) from mid-July to the end of September. If you want to order both bearded irises (TB, SDB, MDB) and peonies, you need to order peonies on a separate order, because we send bearded irises in the summer, but peonies in autumn (or in early spring). Together with bearded irises - siberian and spuria irises, daylilies and hostas can be ordered.

FRISK ME (Blyth 2001/02)
Standards soft apricot pink, falls burgundy red spot and apricot pink edge, ruffled and flared. Beards tangerine orange in throat, lavender blue at tip. Pronounced sweet fragrance.

Standards clear medium blue covered with fine network of darker blue texture veins, falls same, short blue-white rays flanking beard. Beards tangerine, white at end. Slight fragrance.

Standards translucent medium light old gold, falls medium yellow gold, diffuse medium charcoal purple spot changing to veining on haft. Beards orange, yellow base. Slight fragrance.
ZAP (Black 2004)
Standards purple violet, darker texture veining, falls velvety black cherry, narrow iridescent band, muted white veining beside beard, ruffled. Beards large, bright yellow gold. Slight sweet fragrance.
PORTLAND PINK (Black 2015)
Standards mid pink, falls mid peach-pink, darker haft and line from beard ½ way down petal, green-tan textured veins. Beards dark tangerine-pink; slight spicy fragrance. Height 30 cm.

Standards and falls vivid yellow. Beard bright orange. Height 30 cm. Slight fragrance.

Bright golden yellow with brown lines on falls. Beards yellow-orange. Slight fragrance.

Standards wide red violet plicata band, small white central area, falls white near beard, red violet luminata wash over center, darker red violet plicata band. Beards violet in throat, white at end. Slight spicy fragrance.

Standards violet with stitching along edge, lighter toward midrib, falls white ground stitched violet along edge, violet haft markings. Beards white. Pronounced sweet fragrance.

Powder blue, falls with purple violet veining forming signal around bright lavender blue beard. Slight fragrance.
