Single red blooms on compact, low ( 40 cm) bushes with finely cut foliage. It belongs to the "Rock Garden Peonies", for their short heights, suitable for the rock gardens or in front positions in your garden. It blooms very early.

Flowers double (Bomb type) multicolored pink and cream with tightly packed petals. The double row of round, large guard petals nicely hold the flower form. The blossom top matches the delicate color of the guards. Flowers slightly fragrant, good as a cut-flower. Strong stems, plant height 70 cm.

Flowers simple, purplish pink with striking yellow stamens, 8 cm in diameter. After flowering, it produces interesting fruits with shiny black seeds. Very decorative, finely dissected leaves, grows to a height of about 80 cm. Very hardy peony for sunny to semi-shady locations and neutral to calcareous soils, suitable for natural gardens. I am sending three-year-old plants planted in a 2 l container.

SORBET (Klehm 1995)
Large, semi-double flower made of a blend of rose and creamy-yellow. The lower part of each petal is creamy-yellow but the upper part is of a vivid pink with raspberry streaking and lightly crumpled margins. Almost delicate picotee effect! Flowers are held upright on strong stems. Elegant peony, unique pattern of the flowers, a favorite for cut flower bouquets.

Flowers single, bright scarlet. It is a hybrid between P. tenuifolia and P. lactiflora, the oldest known interspecific hybrid created out of China. Huge semi-double white flowers with deep lavender to purple flares. The contrast between the purple color of the center of this peony and the pure white petals is magnificent – it is reminiscent of the type found on the Chinese Gansu Mudan (P. rockii hybrids).
