SDB – Standard Dwarf Bearded Irises
In this group, you will find low-growing irises of the height between 21 cm and 40 cm, usually blooming between late April and mid-May. They bloom profusely by carpets of about 5 cm large flowers, often brightly colored, sometimes with distinctly contrasting beards, in magnificent combinations. Many of them also smell nice. SDB's love sunny position and free-draining soil, so they are ideal for planting in rock gardens, or bed frames. They may also be combined perfectly with other perennials. They are easy to grow and completely frost-resistant. On these sites, you can sort them by their flower color.
We accept orders all year round, bareroot plants are sent (by Zásilkovna or Czech Post) from mid-July to the end of September. If you want to order both bearded irises (TB, SDB, MDB) and peonies, you need to order peonies on a separate order, because we send bearded irises in the summer, but peonies in autumn (or in early spring). Together with bearded irises - siberian and spuria irises, daylilies and hostas can be ordered.

Standards ruffled, medium buff-gold, lighter in center. Falls ruffled, medium buff-gold, large garnet spot, medium buff-gold haft veins beside beard. Beards dark orange, tipped white. Pronounced strawberry fragrance.
FINGERTIPS (Black 2004)
Standards translucent medium light old gold, falls medium yellow gold, diffuse medium charcoal purple spot changing to veining on haft. Beards orange, yellow base. Slight fragrance.
FIRE CORAL (Aitken 2007)
Standards hot orange, falls orange, burgundy red wash, lighter at edges, orange hafts. Beards intense orange-red. Slight fragrance.
HELMSMAN (Smith M. 2002)
Standards orange, strong peach midrib, falls ruffled, cream, faint peach infusion on outer half, orange plicata band, vertical orange veins in center. Beards orange. Slight sweet fragrance.

Standards peach orange, falls light orange-yellow ground with purple dots and veins on the edge, ruffled. Beards coral red. Slight fragrance.
